What’s in a name?
We have pondered that question for quite some time. Especially since we love in Rockland County, NY. It’s about 30 miles from NYC, and on the Western side of the Hudson River.
It’s also home to a growing music scene – one that has developed since the early 90’s, and encompassed many different genres of music, and hundreds of different styles.
Today we tell you to start saying the name of this County differently. Why? Because we don’t want you to just visit – we want you to experience it they way we have lived it, with heart and soul, rhythm and blues, rap and reggae, country and techno.
The next time you are thinking of crossing the majestic TZ/Cuomo Bridge, or flying in from Arizona, or taking a drive down 9w for the weekend, or hopping the train north to thr Suffern/Mahwah train station – remember the name of this county is to be pronounced as such:
